Anissa Marie Curry

Anissa Curry was born on September 7, 1976, in Newport News, Virginia. She was the daughter of Wallace "Buddy" Curry, II and Angela Garner Anderson.   Anissa worked in medical records a job she felt was her calling.  She attended the Church of God and the Christian Church of Hardy.  She departed this life on Friday June 26, 2009, in Hardy, Arkansas, at the age of 32 years, 9 months, and 19 days.  Anissa was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents the Rev. and Mrs. Austin Garner.  She is survived by her son, Malachai Suede Curry; her daughter, Shade Marian Gibson; Mother, Angela Anderson; Father, Wallace "Buddy" Curry, II; Step Father, Rick Anderson; Brother, Austin Eugene Anderson; Grandparents, Gene and Marian Garner; 2 Aunts and Uncles, Tweela and Col. Don McLean, and Wyvonna and Allan Hawkins; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral services for Anissa will be held 10:30 am,  Wednesday, July 1, graveside at the Highland Cemetery in Highland. Visitation will be 6 until 8 pm Tuesday June 30, at the Heath Funeral Home of Hardy.  Those wishing to leave a lasting memorial might consider the Legacy Hospice, 106 Locust Street, Salem, Arkansas.
