Lawrence Russell Crain

Mr. Lawrence Russell Crain, 90 of Williford, Arkansas died on Wednesday, at Lawrence Memorial  Hospital in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Born Sunday, April 24, 1921 in Hoopeston, Illinois, he was the son of the late Robert Crain and the late Ruth Insley  Crain. He served in the Army from 1942 until 1945, earning four Bronze Stares. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Alice Crain, son, Robert Crain of Danville, IL, daughters, Ruth Lockhart of Attica, IN, Rose Johnson of Decatur, IL and Idella May Kell of Bonnell, FL. Step Daughters Idella Kell of Bonnell, IL. Linda Thompson of Norman, OM. Deanne Bruns of Williford, AR Peggy Bruns of Garland, TX Step Sons Roger Bruns of Terre Haute, IN. and Charles Bruns of Harrison, AR. Sister Betty Leedy of IN and Brother Bob Crain of OK. 29 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son, Larry Crain. and Gary Burns his sister Margorie Mackenfuss and his parents.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Heath Funeral Home. Interment will be in Baker Cemetery, Ozark Acres, AR.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Heath Funeral Home, , Highland, Arkansas.
