Robert Honeycutt

 

Mr. Robert Lesley Honeycutt, 89 of Ash Flat, Arkansas was born on Aug. 2, 1922, son of late Hiram Sr. and Gertrude Ann (Jones) Honeycutt.
Less left his home in Ash Flat to be with Jesus on Sep. 18, 2011.
Less was united in marriage on Jan. 17, 1952 to Violet Mae Phenix and this union 8 children were born, 4 boys and 4 girls. Less was a member of Light House Baptist Church.                                                             

Less leaves to mourn, his beloved wife Violet Honeycutt of Ash Flat, AR. sons, Danny & Georgia Honeycutt of Jonesboro, AR, Robert & Doris Honeycutt of Williford, AR, Teddy & Angie Honeycutt of Hardy, AR and Terry Honeycutt of Ravenden, AR, daughters, Joyce Bettis of Highland, AR, Janet May of Ravenden, AR, Doris & Charles Johnson of Ash Flat, AR and Erma & Dennis Jernigan of Owsso, OK, brother, Hiram Honeycutt, Jr. of Ravenden, AR; 24 grand children; 39 great grand children as well as numerous loving family and friends. Less was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 grandsons Little Kenny Bettis, Tommy Corp and Mitchell Wagner, 2 son-in-laws Kenny Bettis and Donald Joe May, 2 brothers Wess and Noel Honeycutt and 7 sisters Ava, Zelda, Anola, Ora Lee, Elizabeth, Robbiee Jean and Doris.   
Less served in WWII participated in four major battles and very proud of the time he served his country.

 

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home. Interment will be in Flint Cemetery, Wirth, AR.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, at Heath Funeral Home.
