Thomas Manganaro
Mr. Thomas W Manganaro, age 62 of Cherokee
Village, Arkansas died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at his residence.
He was born January 4, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Thomas and
Ruth Manganaro. After serving in Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf Wars, Tom
retired from the Navy and opened Tom's Short Cut’s barber shop in Cherokee
Village. Tom’s shop was the place where all political policies were
discussed. Tom was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Anila Polo Manganaro and a daughter
Philliss Manganaro of the home. Rosary service will be at 5:30 PM on
Sunday at Heath Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass will be held 10:00AM Monday, October 3, 2011 at St.
Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village with Fr. Linus Ukomadu
Celebrating. The family has ask that in Lieu of flowers donations to be
made to the Philliss Manganaro Education Fund at any FNBC Bank.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, October
2, 2011, at Heath Funeral Home in Highland, AR.
