Maxine Rupple
Maxine K. Ricketts Rupple, 96, of Cherokee
Village, Arkansas,
formerly
of Dyer Indiana,
died Wednesday,
November 23, 2011.
Maxine was born
to the late Orla and Edna Delle Kephart Davis on
May 15, 1915 in
McClean County, Illinois.
Maxine was a school teacher for many years,
starting out in a one room school teaching all eight
grades, and
retiring from the Sauk Village School District #168 in
Illinois.
During WWII she worked in a factory in Hammond driving
a forklift for
the war effort. Her first marriage was to Glenn E. Ricketts
after his
death she married William “Blue” Rupple and he also
precedes. Maxine
is a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving
are three
daughters and a son-in-law: Glenda Smith, Terilyn “Teri”
and Mike
Kapitan, and Barbara Boyd. One son: Michael Boyd. Ten
grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren. Two sisters: Wanda Gehrt,
and Donna
McDonald. One brother: Delmar Davis.
She was preceded in death by her
sisters, Emily Norton and Orma Rodgers.
A memorial service will be held
6:00pm,Tuesday, December 20th at Heath Funeral Home of Highland
