Christel Shelton

Chritel Shelton, Age 74, of Cherokee Village died Thursday December 8, 2011. Christel was born January 13, 1937 in Bransberg, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Arno Buther and the late Alice (Emme) Buther. Christel move to the United States over 50 years ago with her husband George Shelton a member of the U S Army. they moved to Little rock, AR. where she worked for Leasure Arts for several years, she then became a stay at home mother, and housewife.

She is survived by sons George, Hans and Timothy Shelton and daughters Barbara Shelton and Janie Wright, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one Daughter Connie Chambers.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in the Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR
